So as we all know Anthony Weiner is stupider than a bag of nails. He has to be if he thought he could tweet his privates to women across the country and not think that it would get back to his wife.
What's even more stupid, the leak was started from him! That's right ladies, he blasted his own tweet, out for the world to see, by accident. A case of an old man, who doesn't fully understand how to use or the repercussions of social media.
But here is where the story starts to pull at the heartstrings, (cue violins playing the here,) Huma Weiner, the 35 year old, very successful, very pretty, very pregnant wife of Mr. Weiner, married just one year on June 11th, has been nothing but classy and prestigious through out the entire scandal, (no doubt her boss, Hilary Clinton, gave her a few pointers on how to cope when your man is caught cheating.)
And yet, I wonder, what would I do if I was in her shoes. The practical thing is to initially try to work things out, for the sake of baby Weiner. But can a marriage really recover when everyone in the world is talking about your husband’s privates?
My no-nonsense-quick-and-dirty-response-is, NO! In the age of the internet, where every word, picture and incident, lives on forever, I don’t think it is possible for a wife to move past her husband’s very public infidelities.
Then why is she staying? Here’s my analysis of the situation
