So as we all know Anthony Weiner is stupider than a bag of nails. He has to be if he thought he could tweet his privates to women across the country and not think that it would get back to his wife.

What's even more stupid, the leak was started from him! That's right ladies, he blasted his own tweet, out for the world to see, by accident. A case of an old man, who doesn't fully understand how to use or the repercussions of social media.

But here is where the story starts to pull at the heartstrings, (cue violins playing the here,) Huma Weiner, the 35 year old, very successful, very pretty, very pregnant wife of Mr. Weiner, married just one year on June 11^th, has been nothing but classy and prestigious through out the entire scandal, (no doubt her boss, Hilary Clinton, gave her a few pointers on how to cope when your man is caught cheating.)

And yet, I wonder, what would I do if I was in her shoes. The practical thing is to initially try to work things out, for the sake of baby Weiner. But can a marriage really recover when everyone in the world is talking about your husband’s privates?

My no-nonsense-quick-and-dirty-response-is, NO! In the age of the internet, where every word, picture and incident, lives on forever, I don’t think it is possible for a wife to move past her husband’s very public infidelities.

Then why is she staying? Here’s my analysis of the situation

            1) She is the “right hand woman” to one of the world’s most powerful women in the world, Hilary Clinton. She might be looking to further her political career, al-la Secretary Clinton, which in US politics means showcasing a traditional family, aka- husband, wife, kids and a dog.

`          2) She is half Indian, and being an Indian woman myself, we are taught that divorce is always a last resort. Maybe Weiner-Gate was not as bad to her as it has been to the rest of the country. Maybe tweeting his privates is not as bad as him physically cheating?

            3) Her baby daddy, for better or worse, will always be Anthony Weiner. Or is it? Perhaps she has had an infidelity or two of her own, perhaps this was payback and Anthony has now even the score?

            4) It’s hormonal! She’s preggers ya’ll. Perhaps things will be clearer when the baby pops out.

Whatever Huma decides, here’s one piece of advice I hope she follows: You are a beautiful, powerful, successful young women, who is about to become a mom. Remember that you and your child deserves the best and if you need any help during this difficult time in your life, know that you have over one million New Yorkers who are willing to “get ghetto,” on your husband’s ass if he messes up again!
